
It wasn’t until I read the article in BAM magazine and looked at the slideshow of the development of the Google logo in WIRED magazine that I noticed that the letters ‘o’ and the letter ‘g’ in the Google logo are tilted over to the left, and that the cross stroke in the ‘e’ is titled as well.
What is more, the tilt of the cross stroke in the letter ‘e’ is not at 90˙ to the line of the letter ‘o’, so no matter which way you orient the typeface, something is off-line.
Actually, I think I did notice these elements a long time ago, or maybe my memory is wrong.
