I was at university at the same time as someone who dressed in a different way each year. One year he dressed as a gangster, the next year as a priest, and I forget what the third was.
He not only dressed the part, he acted the part.
I admired him then. Now I am older I admire him more. He grabbed his life and did what he could to break out of his box.
Some People
Some people want to break out of their boxes but end up screaming and running down the street. Screaming won’t do it, but it can be part of the journey towards doing it.
Everyone should suffer – not physical suffering because no-one should wish that on anyone – because it helps one stand up straight.
Some people stand up straight right from the get go. Maybe they just have different roads to follow.
