Marsedit
I use Marsedit to write this blog. I don’t do everything with Marsedit because sometimes I actually visit and write right in the site. But I usually blog with Marsedit because there is a certain wonder and beauty in using a program that is on my home machine and which allows me to write at leisure (and whether I am on the net or not) and then upload to this site when I am satisfied with whatever I have written.
Can you see how it takes the pressure off?
Marsedit works on a Mac and it needs 0S X 10.4 or 10.5 to work. It costs $29.95 and there is a free thirty-day trial. I used it for 30 days and wasn’t sure I was going to buy it. When the 30 days were up, a malaise overcame me. I felt bereft of my Marsedit. I could not longer write from my desk. Instead I had to get into the admin panel on my site. In fact I had to log in to each of my blog sites if I wanted to write to them.
Immediately I knew it was useless wasting more energy thinking about it. I bought Marsedit and I am glad I did so and I don’t regret it. It is mother’s milk to a writer.
There isn’t an affiliate program; Marsedit doesn’t have one, so I don’t get anything out of it if you click the link. I am writing this just because I like Marsedit and I like to promote things I like.
